Greetings parents to a season where the storm clouds are gathering.

Still no new Head announcement or even explanation of why not.
Three  interim Heads this term, how many next term?

Thank you Mrs. Hodges!
Well at least one person was honest or was it unwitting to admit what we said on this website several years ago  THAT THE 14 FIRST AIDERS are for the other STAFF, yes, you read that right, FOR THE STAFF. This means that there are NO QUALIFIED FIRST-AIDERS FOR THE CHILDREN. At last someone has admitted it. Previous Heads have made a big issue of there being 14 qualified first aiders for the pupils, why else would they put the list in the prospectus. It is of no use to parents to know this . It is why nobidy would say who they were accredited by.
Then there is the even stranger fact that these 14 are by virtue of being First Aiders, the ones allowed to give medication to children . I fail to see any connection between the the two things.
Also it means there is no-one in the school qualified to give first aid to pupils - shocking isn't it! Why has nobdy bothered to train staff up. It could be a life saver.
Even more disturbing nobody is telling the rest of the parents (me telling them on this website is very obviously not good enough as not everyone has access)
IT IS TIME ONE OF THOSE 3 INTERIM HEADS SPELT OUT THE FIRST AID AND MEDICAL POLICY IN VIEW OF THE DEATHS AND INJURIES OVER THE YEARS

Meanwhile management continue to be unfriendly  and shut the majority of parents out, ( in preparation for the school becoming a behavioural unit when there would be a very a very strong block on those nasty parents because they obviously caused their children's bad behaviour and they need treating like naughty children themselves!)

A LIGHT BULB MOMENT
We think we know where Barbara is. There is an Educational Consultancy called EDISON, which consists of all her old colleagues - Paul Lincoln and Sue Kerfoot, Alan and Mrs. Sigston all left Essex when privatisation failed and are no doubt getting some of your child's money to 'train' the staff. Look up their website yourselves and you will see nice profiles of all the above, so they are not hiding, but Barbara has always shied away from any publicity because of her previous run-ins with parents, and the law, although she can't avoid some web entries if you look her up.

I suspect something big will happen next term, although the school still hasn't devised a Behavioural Policy. Next time one of you bump into Ms Jarvis ask her directly "Are you going to be the new Head/Director of Learning?"   Oh no, I forgot, no one is allowed in the school. Wait behing the dustbins and surprise her in the car park.
