We've had a massive reponse through e-mails and Interactive Messaging Board to last month's bruised child photos.
Not one person could justify it or say anything in in the staff's defence. Several spoke about being in shock.
In view of the whitewash 'clearing' Sue Davies and Mary Rush, and without Marion Pluckrose giving the inquiry the photos as promised, and the obvious disgust of poor Neil Tillotson who resigned after what he saw (he is the son of a policeman), the parents have decided after many attempts to get officials involved, to show the rest of the world the photos and tell the story.
If any authority doesn't respond with fairness, a sense of helpfulness, by not  co-operating or acting responsibly, it makes people VERY ANGRY, and
SEEKING JUSTICE further up the chain

What needs to be done

1. The sacking/resignation of Mary Rush - Senior Staff
   
2. The sacking /resignation of Sue Davies - Head/School Manager
3. The sacking/resignation of Marion Pluckrose -Area Officer LEA
4. An apology to Neil T. and persuade him to have his job back, if he wants it.
5. An investigation into the disgraceful 'whitewash committee' and their flawed conclusions.
6. Reasons why missing documents not available, Manual Handling Policy and related staff certification, Incident Book (how many years has the school got away without having one!!)  Behaviour Management Policy  etc etc
7. Opening up of the school to parents and some nice friendly, efficient management
   

Notice parents did get an invite to the Christmas Service at the Church, BUT NOTHING IN THE SCHOOL

Pity the poor parents who did not get a parents' evening invite who were then told "too late" "you've missed it" "no spaces"
NOT SORRY WE'LL ARRANGE AN ALTERNATIVE

Parents who work very hard invited to meetings within the school day.

A child has been ABUSED by another pupil quite a while ago, but the school's handling of this has been abysmal, the complaint not resolved by any of the authories contacted, the child has been given no help to get over this, nor any action taken against the other pupil, and nothing done to prevent it re-occuring.

A right Christmas Tingling
Apparently the pupils tell us that the head, Sue Davies, was demonstrating this modern Christmas tradition of a ball and sparklers when this set the smoke alarm off and the school had to be evacuated in the heavy rain. It never rains but it pours!!

The OFFICIAL HARLOWFIELDS SCHOOL WEBSITE is rather dormant or has even become dodo-like again. WHY?

Well if nothing else all this trouble has proved conclusively the dangers of all the authorities joining forces under the NMSS banner is just being used by the school as another way of burying problems and battering families into submission. THIS IS NOT GOING TO WORK. We want and need separate authorities who will act independently and correctly. 

• Social Services to act on complaints about the school, like they do when it's families.
• Police should also act independently on complaints about the school.
• Child Protection Unit should listen and act on parents complaints about the school.
• NHS should keep a healthy distance from any of the school's actions.

It's no good offering a combined service when it just means a HARDER, TALLER, THICKER WALL to negotiate. (It's no accident we have a brick wall as the background on this website)
NMSS is just another layer for Essex to defend their arrogant position with.
We'd like to know from them how they think NMSS is supposed to benefit any one of our children. Notice they won't tell you.
