We would love you to apply for this job inspite
of this rather bizarre advert. We need someone who is extremely well
qualified in education, who will defend the whole school community
against outside interference and support developing our special pupils'
individual needs.
- You will need to know in depth about New Model Special School system and if it involves STAKEHOLDERS as a form of privatisation
- You need to know that the largest number of pupils are Autistic (even though the advert doesn't tell you this)
- You need to know that nobody seems to know whether PMLDs are part of the school's future. They have no therapy pool.
- You need to know that many pupils are not taught by a teacher but by LSAs which is immoral, unethical and discriminatory.
- You need to know that the school has been through a rough few years, hence the need to have this website.
- You need to know that most of the parents have been locked out and not communicated with over the last several years.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't let this put you off.We realise that a
head's job is to balance between all concerned parties (in theory)
It would be so nice to have an outside appointment of someone who could be fair minded, courteous and welcoming.
COME ON ... YOU COULD DO THIS JOB... Please apply for this job and do your homework about what's not mentioned in the advert.
We have had two INSIDER appointments in the last 10 years. Would they dare do it again after all the problems?
One retired early and the other left after questions about his management.
