July Update- Phew! What a scorcher! and I'm not talking about the weather.

End of term report. Messrs Pocock and Saddler have kept things ticking over and Mrs. Saddler has tried to understand the depth of this school's problems for which we are grateful.

Some very interesting letters have come to light, and while I am trying to avoid going back much, these make very illuminating reading.

BARBARA CALLS BILL RAMMELL,(Minister of State for Higher Education, Further Ed. and Lifelong Learning)  A LIAR. He apparently believes any rubbish he is told, and makes his own lies up too! She also calls him THE APRIL FOOL

BRIAN SURTEES "I have located the website and am convinced that some of the derogatory comments are couched in such a way as to very clearly indicate where the origin lies" oh yes ??

He thinks the website is something of an invitation only enterprise. Couldn't be more wrong, Brian.

BRIAN LOSES IT. I am informed, because like most of you we didn't bother to go to the meeting about the long overdue OFSTED report back to parents. Any Questions? You must be joking! One parent had 20 or so very relevant questions, and how many did he answer NONE!. Fortunately that's what that parent was expecting , because as you know ...

BRIAN NEVER ANSWERS ANY QUESTIONS  and this parent is still waiting for replies to 2003 APM questions!!

BRIAN LOOSES HIS TEMPER THREE TIMES and shouts at PARENTS at the meeting. This is a disgraceful way to carry on, particularly for a Chair.

CHILDREN WHO WERE UP THE TOWN WITH AN LSA IN 30C IN SUSPECT CIRCUMSTANCES, WHO SAID A PARENT KNEW ABOUT THIS VISIT, BUT THEY DIDN'T. THEY DO NOW AND THEY ARE VERY SHOCKED.

THE ONE QUESTION BRIAN DID ANSWER WAS "will the new head be picked for being the best person for the job in all repects?"

Answer. " NO. IT WILL THE PERSON WHO MOST CLOSELY AGREES WITH THE LEA's VISION"

That is appalling. However it does tell us what we knew already is that great plans for re-organisation are afoot. The school and LEA do not want to mend any relations with parents  (TALIBAN!) (SEE LAST UPDATE)

This school is a complete mess; rudderless and with so many problems  Happy holidays!
