To the only parent we've ever turned down for the Integrated Messaging Board We are sorry because we might be being over-cautious but you didn't answer all our questions and there were some question marks about your motives and your behaviour to other parents. however feel free to keep up the e-mails and tell us something to help us reconsider. If you are genuinely supportive then please accept our apologies. As to your questions (1) Yes it's a pity about Sports Day, but it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things is it?  Any other parent like to comment (2) Staff leaving      Why is Deborah leaving taking a sideways move? Must be keen to get out.       John Oaksford -  not my favourite teacher, but approachable       Sue Morley - nice person - we wish her well.       Sad that the school can't replace her as music is such an important form of communication for special needs. (3) Why is Class 5 being disbanded? Another cut in staff numbers?

 (a) The 9 16 year olds leaving are hopefully going to college etc because their family wants this not because the school wants them out. Remember the power of a Statement naming HFS up until 19 years can be enforced.
(b) The Diary of Summer events lists 13 'events' but 6 were non-events for pupils as they were days when the school was closed etc.
(c) The School Fete
Still no details of how much was raised or raffle winners announced. We had a good time (as much as one can) How come I never win the raffle?
(d) Sue Davies started off in Sept by power dressing in the sharp suit, but by the end of the school year was in a stripy T-shirt and COMBAT style trousers!!!, much to some staff's disgust. Psychologically it may be telling us a lot.
(e)Sue Burnside  is a new Deputy Head, and head of Upper School
     Kathleen Wall (originally on loan from Chelmsford) is Deputy Head and Head of Lower School
(f) OFSTED said the School should have monthly Govs Meetings (10 or 11?)
but the Govs couldn't even manage one in a whole term -Spring 08.
(g) Parents of child who took himself to A& E contact me on e-mail if you like, because the press are interested in this example of gross negligence

(h) Will HFS be officially an NMSS school in Sept having been postponed for so long while it was in County Special measures , yes we have that in writing, and now  the finances have been 'corrected', but how can it be without a Specialist Teacher in Autism and a Specialist teacher of PMLD. This is not good.
 Have  really good holidays and think of me  with my fixed smile and wonder my friends , wonder!!  See you in Sept  or earlier if anything develops.
