HEAD BULLY
A professional who actually managed to get into the school for a meeting called the Head "A BULLY" .
If the Head or any member of staff asks you a question and you decline to answer it for whatever reason...
if they repeatedly ask that that question then that is BULLYING 

HEAD ACCUSATION
Talk about transfering accusations back on to any old parent the Head then accused a parent of being a bully boy (strange patronising term)
A bit like Barack Obama calling a journalist 'sweetie'. This parent was not bullying, but the Head obviously can't face it herself.

POLICE CALLED REPEATEDLY TO TEACHER SHOUTING  AND SWEARING AT HER CHILDREN in the middle of the night.
Yes we were staggered to hear this. We are not going to print the name here, although perhaps we should. Perhaps the teacher should reconsider her profession as that kind of behaviour does not sound very conducive to teaching special needs. Once we could forgive, but there seems to be a pattern here.

A TEACHER IS TAKING ANTI-PYSCHOTIC DRUGS
Much as we have sympathy with anyone with a mental illness, we do have to ask should this person be teaching special needs.

THE BOY WITH THE BRUISES, for which the Head now has a Police Caution, is, surprise, surprise, now being picked on for the slightest misdemeanor, as a build up to trying to remove him from the school. For several reasons this amounts to DISCRIMINATION. No surely they wouldn't stoop that low we hear you say..... so the Head and Deputy call the parents in (they think to discuss different, perhaps positive ways of dealing with the boy) and the opening shot is ..have you thought of sending him to another school (miles away). The boy is very happy at Harlowfields and everyone else wants him to be there, so pull your finger out Ms. Davies and lets try and make a good outcome for the child who is most important after all. You owe him that...

BILL RAMMELL is in the Harlow Star visiting the school,  supposedly opening a "new" trampoline,paid for with an award from Children in Need . Our sources tell us that the trampoline has been at the school for about a year!  SO WHAT HAVE THEY SPENT THE £10,000 on?  ...  have they put in to the fund to cover the  hugh financial black hole?  Bill also re-opened one of the Hydrotherapy Pools. We suspect that Bill was a cheap publicity stunt (without parents invited of course) to signal to the world that Harlowfields is back to acceptablity. Maybe Bill has had a reduction in the large numbers of parents coming to him to complain about the school.



PARENTS ARE STILL BEING KEPT OUT OF SCHOOL
The school is still unbelievably controlling. So it doesn't bode well for an NMSS school. We use the brick wall logo on our home page as a deliberate symbol of this awful attitude. Any improvement and we may remove the odd brick.

YOUR CHILD'S STATEMENT GOES TO 19 YEARS OLD
SO assuming your child's statement names Harlowfields as the school he/she DOES NOT HAVE TO LEAVE AT 16. It's a bluff. If you hold out your child can stay at the school until you've been to a free SEN Tribunal. It's just amazing what Essex get away with.
We've heard of one pupil who is currently being denied access to the school because there is no care plan, and guess what the head has failed to produce a care plan or ratify the parents care plan. Catch 22!!!
