AN INSPECTOR CALLS .........with apologies to J.B. Priestley

The Inspectors are here! Come quickly or we will be discovered. We flew downstairs and found two of my colleagues unsure what to do. "Don't let them in" I whispered "stall them for a few minutes." We ran to a back room and clambered out of the window. After an hour, unable to stand the suspense I walked back towards the building and peered from behind a wall to the canopy. The vehicles were still parked there. I waited two hours until I heard voices.

When they had gone my staff informed me that everything had gone well at first. The inspectors had looked around and listened respectfully as the head fed them the story that they were dedicated to water treatment.......The inspectors left. When they returned and dug deep enough evidence would be found in every shred of material present. We stripped the walls and roof and excavated a foot and a half of topsoil, replaced it with fresh soil and built an exact replica of the buildings in 2 weeks!! The inspectors found nothing.....

No! don't worry this is not an account of the recent visit to Harlowfields and the panic that ensued,but a report from a recent Sunday Magazine by the chief nuclear engineer, Dr.Mahdi Obeidi, about his encouter with the UN Weapons Inspectors. Good isn't it?

Webmaster decided not to update the website last month to focus on other forms of communication. We hope you all were brave enough to communicate with this inspector, although some of you are are undoubtedly still pessimistic and wary after the previous OFSTED whitewash.

We are more hopeful that we will be listened to and that complaints will be acted on this time , although it's hard to believe it. The cmplaints have come from a variety of sources independent of each other and early indications are that action will be taken. (not the lynching of the usual parents). We don't want to say any more until the report is issued, very soon. We want to give the inspector space.
