Hi Parents,
At last September is here again, so we can relax, kids are back at
school - oh no, not if ours are at HFS. Vigilance is required..
This year promises to have the usual amount of problems as nothing has
changed and THE PARENTS ARE STILL SHUT OUT, creating deep suspicion.
SORRY to the parent that I mentioned in July; mistaken identity, and
this parent has now passed the vetting procedure and is happily
communicating with others on the Interactive Messaging board.
FINANCIAL IRREGULARITIES
Now the paperwork has partly appeared which shows why we were so
concerned that no Annual Financial Statements have been issued for many
years. These used to be part of the Annual Parents Meeting report (now
defunct), but we are still entitled to a copy if we ask.
This has not been forthcoming for the 6 years that we have been asking for them.

What can we extract from these figures?
(1) The balance for the first 3 years is the same in spite of the
income and outgoings being very different. But why is there a
difference of between £40,000 and £70,000 in the totals?
Is this what the interim heads were working on?
(2) As there is a similar difference in 06 and 07 which we assume are
accurate, why is there a difference of £5.000 and £7,000, and not for
the first 3 years?
(3) Why was BT's balance in 03-04 come out to £381,000, which is a difference of £213,000
How does the school account for this?
(4) Why did BT have such large surpluses? the last 3 surpluses look more normal.
(5) If BT claims to have spent £276,000 less than later declared where did it go?
(6) Considering about £1,500,000 goes on Salaries and
wages we are looking at at the whole of the rest of one years budget!!!
WEBMASTER reckons that Sue Davies is in big trouble, but this is going
to take time to pan out. Keep watching; I'm dying to tell you but I
can't yet.
