Alex Surtees
My work incorporates a wide range of media, methods and sizes – from small scale prints to larger paintings and drawings. The work explores relationships between figure and landscape. Drawings and paintings are a personal recording of place and time. I attempt to evoke feelings and sensations which linger in the memory and imagination long after the experience has passed.
