Doug Masterton has considerable experience gained through service to education

	Inspector including previous work as a Registered Inspector - Additional inspector with Tribal Education
	Inspector for the statutory inspection of Anglican schools (Section 48) Dioceses of Wakefield, Bradford and Ripon and Leeds
	Former curriculum ICT consultant
	Manager of the Education Leeds ICT Development Agency up until 2003.
	School Improvement Adviser from 1979 until 2003
	Specialist adviser for ICT and Science
	Curriculum Development Leader developing resources for learning through ICT
	Deputy Head Teacher in a comprehensive school
	Head of Department and teacher of science

From 1993 to 2001 Doug served the National Association of Advisers for Computers in Education (NAACE) as a member of their executive committee and as Chair of that committee and latterly as Chair of the Board of Managers (Trustees). Doug was also national Vice Chair of the Association for Science Education and Chair of the West Midland and Yorkshire Region.
