HE stands for Higher Education.
Higher Education is a period of study in
a specialist subjects like:
Business
Studies
Media
Nursing
Various qualifications can be gained,
which are recognised nationally and internationally.

Study usually takes place in a University,
or
Canterbury Christ Church University
College
Kent Institute of Art and Design
University of Kent at Canterbury
As well as the traditional, three year
Degree, courses also include the higher technical and professional
qualifications such as the HE Certificates/Diplomas and NVQ Level 4 (these are sometimes
delivered in conjunction with an associated FE College).
Part-time options are available for many
courses, some running in the evening. In
some subjects, students can start with a HE Certificate in a chosen area,
go onto a HE Diploma and then progress to a Degree Course.
