Dollar is a rural town where church membership is of the order of 700 people. We
have about 150 who worship regularly at the main church services. Others participate
in the services held in the local nursing homes. The town has an Episcopal Church
which also has an active congregation. The population of the town is a mixture of
local families, those who have settled in for the longer term and others who stay
a relatively short time and then move on.
Glendevon is a small scattered community which comes together to worship in a small
church situated in Glendevon. The main road through the glen is one of the main passes
through the Ochils. The Church has some 50 members of whom 15 come together in regular
worship throughout the year. Travellers seek out this charge and find comfort in
the beauty and peace of this Church.
Muckhart is a community which is both a village and a scattered community on the
boundary between Clackmannanshire and Perth and Kinross. Membership is of the order
of 150 with regular worshipers of 40. This is regularly augmented by the Scripture
Union who attend services from their Residential Centre at Lendrick Muir.
