I trained in Copenhagen and Sussex Alexander School where I qualified in 1998. Since then I have worked in my private practice with private clients. I regularly offer courses for groups. Since 1999 I have worked in Adult Education such as Taunton’s College in Southampton and Totton College. Since 2003 I have been an Associate Lecturer at Solent University Southampton teaching the Alexander Technique to students on the Performing Arts degree course level. I offer introductory workshops in industry and higher education. I work in the NHS.
I have a son.
Our bodies communicate with the world and remember our history
Based on both my longstanding experience as a body worker and my interest in psychotherapeutic approaches I am able to facilitate healing processes within a person. With the principles of the Alexander Technique I enable insights into physical and emotional messages and help to develop appropriate responses to unhelpful patterns. Action methods of Psychodrama Psychotherapy help to externalise thoughts and beliefs that are counterproductive for a person. Both ways of working are theoretically backed up by psychotherapeutic theories.
