This is the second of three songs written for a Sunday School presentation based on the story of Nebuchadnezzar's golden image.
There's a furnace, nice
and hot, for the ones who won't comply;
You must bow down and, if not, in the furnace you will die!
Shadrach, Meshach and
Abed-Nego
Would not bow down to the golden image even though . . . .
They'd be thrown into the flames because they all said "No!"
Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego
Reconsider, if you're wise,
bow down and you'll be O.K.
But if you won't compromise, in the furnace you will pay!

See, the king is angry now!
Your last chance has gone and so,
Since you still refuse to bow, in the furnace you must go!
