This is my second year that I have visited your web site to enjoy the music and to be inspired as I plan various school and parish Advent and Christmas Liturgies. I love the songs Steve and appreciate your generousity in sharing with me. It is certainly a challenge to present the Christmas story in some meaningful format using children that may only be available to practise for a very limited time but it is well worth it when I experience the joy it gives to parents, children and other parishioners. I really hope that you are inspired to continue your ministry as this volunteer teacher from New Zealand who doesn't read music really appreciates it. Blessings to all who work with you. Linda

Pam Stoker <pstoker@stokerresources.com>

I am a music educator who delights in hearing children sing purely and simply, and it is such a pleasure to hear your children singing these wonderfully creative story songs! Steve Case is to be commended and congratulated for creating such lovely tunes that make it so interesting for children to sing. These stories will remain with them forever. My husband and I currently serve Arborlawn United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. His ministry is part of his consulting practice to congregations and the performing arts (stokerresources.com).

Thank you for your generosity in sharing this music with others so that we can help the children in our churches experience the same joy!

Most sincerely,

Pam Stoker

Delighted to find your site. Three years ago sitting on the floor of our home with my two grandchildren, I realized there were 11 children in 5 neighboring homes. That is as large as some Sunday School classes I thought. With that idea, God birthed our Back Porch Bible Class that has now been meeting weekly for 3 years with our neighbor's children and grandchildren. We have a Bible story, a related craft, prayers, singing, playacting, etc. for approx. 90 minutes and Fun Day once a year to celebrate the "birth." After roaming your site, God may have given me another "day" in playing Bible Games, such as your Sraws & sweets or Letter Block Quiz or Face Grams. I love those type games as we can usually make them without much expense. Of course I do not have a fund for this project, it is all from our family and money invested in God's kingdom in building youth to know Jesus is worthwhile and great. Most try and sell their ideas and I understand that but what a find to be able to take your ideas and further expand them (maybe) and get the creative juices flowing to share Christ in a way that children will know and follow Jesus eternally. Thank you for all you are doing. I will be 65 soon. George Barna says 85% of the children accept Christ in the 5-14 age range and God has given me a heart to be a part of helping children in that age bracket to know Jesus. We have had two to accept Christ in their own home since we began our study and I believe we were a part of that. Any mother or grandmother with a heart for the Lord and for children can do what I am doing and give children something to do other than video and tv watching or hanging out someplace where they can be influenced by drugs and bad language, etc. Our children ages now range from 11 years down to a two year old joing his five year old brother. We were meeting longer at first but some of the older children had homework so we cut back from almost 2 hours (cut an outside play time). Fun time is outside with water balloons, Jump for Jesus (sack race) Jello eating without hands, cookie decoration, donut eating swinging and no hands, Bite the apple (dunking) and etc. Prizes are given freely.
