Below are some short compositions, recorded
with home studio software using a MIDI keyboard. All instruments apart from the
drums are sequenced. The drums are recorded onto minidisk from a single
microphone, with the exception of ‘Waterfalls’ in which a full set of kit
microphones is used and the track is recorded straight to hard disk. The
recordings here are not full-length pieces but are meant as themes from which
an improvised piece would be played. All the tunes are encoded as mp3s - click
on a title to download.
