Haiti Earthquake Appeal 7pm Monday 22nd February

The Band is holding a special, extra concert on Monday 22nd February in support of the Haiti Earthquake emergency appeal.

We will make our donation through the local Aquabox charity which you may have read about in the Derby Telegraph.

We will be playing a selection of light classics and film scores including several numbers new to our repertoire.

The concert will start at 7pm. Entry will be free but there will be a raffle and all donations will be very welcome. Make a note of the date in your diary and come along to support a cause that really needs your help and to enjoy some good music produced by your community band.

Introduction

The band meets at 6:45 - 8:15 p.m. on Monday evenings in the Concert Hall at the Ecclesbourne School Duffield, Derby. New members are welcome.

You are welcome to come and listen to a couple of practices or to bring along an instrument and join in to see how you like it - then if you enjoy playing with us, join the band.

We have played at many locations including Pavilion Gardens Buxton, Riverside Festival in Nottingham, Chatsworth, Sudbury Hall, Kedleston Hall, Nottingham Castle to name a few! You can see a list of recent and forthcoming concerts on the Events page.
