Welcome to The Derwent Valley Wind Band
We are the Community Band for Duffield in Derbyshire and the surrounding area. We play light classics and film music and have a very wide range of ages of musician. We like to bring music to the community by encouraging people to pick up an instrument and join in.

Introduction
The band meets at 6:45 - 8:15 p.m. on Monday evenings in the Concert Hall at the Ecclesbourne School Duffield, Derby. New members are welcome.
The training band meets from 5:45 to 6:30 on Mondays in the Music Block at Ecclesbourne School.
You are welcome to come and listen to a couple of practices or to bring along an instrument and join in to see how you like it - then if you enjoy playing with us, join the band.
We have played at many locations including Pavilion Gardens Buxton, Riverside Festival in Nottingham, Chatsworth, Sudbury Hall, Kedleston Hall, Nottingham Castle to name a few! You can see a list of recent and forthcoming concerts on the Events page.
