Never Tip on Tiger Lint

On hedgerow high
and bank below
on either side and in between.

Discarded litter leers
at all who pass
by human power
or on mechanical wheels.

Once useful,
purpose served,
devalued, disowned,
discarded and dumped.

Portable, popular, sweets, snacks and drinks
all in their wraps, bottles and cans.
Thrown to one side,
blown in the wind or crunched under our feet.

Eat up your snack and empty your bottle.
Enjoy it in full
but please take that bottle, packet or can
On your way and back to your home.

Re-cycle, re-use.
Please do not abuse
our beautiful lanes
hedgerows and fields.
