Pride in our Parish - 18th April
North Hill Parish takes part in Clean Cornwall Week

At North Hill Village Hall

Litter picking volunteers cleared litter from around the hall car park, the play areas and the field.

Members of the village hall committee
tidied up around the hall entrance,
demolished the rather rickety cage that was housing the refuse bins, and put the bins around the side of the hall to improve appearances.
The new recycling facilities were put in place, including a battery recycling tube, with  important information about recycling. (Larger batteries can be taken to Bangors Recycling Centre, near Launceston)

Everyone enjoyed the coffee morning and raffle, especially the eco-friendly raffle prizes.

At Coads Green Village Hall
A thorough spruce up outside....weeding, edging, strimming and litter picking.
With the two new bins in place, thanks to Cornwall Council Street Rangers, members of the hall committee, the WI and the litter picking volunteers were pleased with the results.

The previous day our community litter picking volunteers joined up with the Cornwall Council Street Rangers to clear up litter from the B3254 and B3257, the two main roads through the parish.

Two important days for the parish and the community!
