Carol is an artist and felt-maker who takes her inspiration from the dramatic views of the Hope Valley, where she lives and works. The surrounding rugged landscape provides a wealth of source material, with the strong shapes, textures and the ever-changing colours and light.

Carol uses mainly fairly-traded, naturally dyed local fleece, where the whole chain from farmer, dyer, feltmaker through to framer all takes place within the Hope Valley.

Her felt work can currently be seen at New Mills Original and Eco Eco.
