Social Activities

Tea dances
We run tea dances every month providing a varied programme of mixed dancing open to everybody.

Call in for coffee
Every Tuesday morning the church sitting room is alive with chat. Friends meet and strangers are made welcome with a cup of coffee and biscuits.

Social afternoon
Alternate Wednesday afternoons sees the large hall throbbing to the sound of line dancing. Also present are some knitters, embroiderers, sewers, artists and people who come along for a jolly good chat! And now also model aeroplane flying sessions, an activity that is creating much interest and again open to everybody.

Mid-week walk
The Wednesday walking group pride themselves on boldly going where many have been before! A leisurely pace is set so that arrival at the chosen hostelry will not leave anyone too exhausted to enjoy the fare, fellowship and fun. Members from the community are very welcome, once again, to join us on these events.

Men's breakfast
Six times a year the men get together for a cooked breakfast, which is really a pseudonym for an overdose of cholesterol, followed by an informal talk by one of the members or an outside speaker on the general topic of "My Journey with Jesus."

We offer our premises to organisations not connected with the church. The list includes a local college, the City of Coventry Children's Choir, the National Blood Transfusion Service, as well as private parties and celebrations. Fees received help fund our community service. Please contact us if you wish to hire our facilities.
