- We are ideally situated on the C2C cycle route at around the 10 mile mark from Whitehaven. At the Kirkland crossroads (from Rowrah), turn right towards Ennerdale Bridge - we are last house about 100 metres on the left. For walkers on the Coast to Coast walk through "Wainwright country", we are just over 1 mile north of Ennerdale Bridge - we are up the top of the hill but it is worth the climb for the view alone. - For your comfort we offer a non-smoking environment. Smoking is not allowed inside the house while smokers may do so in the garden.
- Newspapers can be provided at cost price - if you wish to receive a particular newspaper, please let us know a day or two in advance or when you pre-book.
- Beveridge making facilities and colour T.V.s are available in every room (except the childrens' room).
- Drying facilities are available on request. Also, washing facilities for longer term guests.
- Hairdryers are also available on request.
- We also have a good-sized folding child's cot available.
- Packed lunches are available at a cost of £5.00 (or £4.50 for a lighter version). If you would like a packed lunch please let us know either when you book or by the evening before you need it by the latest.
- While we do not provide evening meals, there are a number of excellent pubs and restaurants in the area providing good value meals.
