3cg Record of Sightings in Cliddesden Area
This form can be used to record any tree, plant, bird,
mammal etc. If you can quantify what you see please
do so. It is often difficult to
quantify what is seen, particularly with plants, where this is the case
please use the following botanical notation,
known as DORFA.
D=Dominant,
O=Occasional, R= Rare, F=Frequent, A= Abundant
These can be further qualified and expressed in the
following way, perhaps best illustrated by imagining
in a large field there is only one
clump but of many flowers of the same type. Latin definitions are key.
If there is any doubt the specie will be left out.
R/LF= rare to Locally Frequent, O/LF= Occasional to Locally
Frequent, F/LA= Frequent to Locally Abundant.
