Future developments
These are some of the changes and
enhancements that may be included in future releases of EPGnavigator.
- A watch timer created from the grid or list EPG view
currently has the duration of the selected programme with the record timer
padding. Change this so that the watch timer has a duration of 5 minutes with a
start time padding of 0 or 1 minutes. The duration and padding will be
configurable.
- If the broadcast EPG data is invalid such that 2 programmes
on the same channel overlap, then currently EPGnavigator discards the EPG data
for one of the programmes. It would be better to keep the data for both
programmes, providing that the start times differ.
- Change the TIMERS screen so that pressing INFO displays the
programmes that will be recorded by the selected timer.
- Record the current programme. Currently the only
EPGnavigator recording option is to set a timer for a future
programme.
- When setting a timer that conflicts with other timers on
other channels, then highlight the conflicting timers and allow the timers to
be edited.
- Include support for the UK TAP Project logos.
