For Norton AV users


If users are being troubled by the computer checking the floppy drive at shutdown for a few seconds.
Do this and it will stop checking the FDD at shutdown!

Right click on the NAV icon in the systray and then click on Configure Norton Antivirus.
Under System, click on Advanced.
then uncheck the box titled Scan floppies for boot viruses when shutting down Windows. Click on Ok!
