(songname.ram)
On your website page put a line in to read,
<a
href="http://www.yourwebsite.co.uk/songname.ram">click
here for music</a>
please note the use of .ram instead of .rm
This will turn on a ram file called songname.ram on your website
http://www.yourwebsite.co.uk.
inside the ram file all it is ,is the URL
"http://www.yourwebsite.co.uk/songname.rm"
this line is all the META file is.
It is made in notepad , saved as songname.ram and posted to your server.
The .ra file must of course be posted on the server the URL points to.
Or it will not be there when you click on the .ram link.
To play the song from anywhere in the world just send the .ram file or post
the .ram file on another server.
Make a hyperlink to it in your HTML page on your website.
So what happens
the .ram file is used in place of the real .rm file.
the HTML page links to the .ram file.
the .ram file is handed to the helper.
the helper parses the .ram file, and gets RealPlayer (and plays) the actual
file.
the .ram file is just a few bytes and downloads lightning fast.
