Modular Staging Update
We did it! Everton Village Hall Committee has raised nearly £11,000, including grant funding totalling £6,000 from the Nottinghamshire Community Fund and the Robin Hood Airport Community fund, for the purchase of our new staging and seating raisers.
The new facilities are a vast improvement, giving both audience and players an improved environment and greatly speeding up the erection of staging and seating for a performance.
We are delighted with the equipment, supplied by local firm CPS of Harworth
The new staging is light, versatile and easier to handle than the old wooden raisers and has the added advantage that it is collapsible and can be stored in the village hall - no more "humping" it across the allotments!
