"Talking Heads"

by Alan Bennett

15th to 18th February 2012

For our February production, to be staged in Everton Village Hall between 15th and 18th February 2012, we are proud to present  four short plays from Alan Bennett’s acclaimed “Talking Heads” series.

The all plays tell different stories from the lives of four characters. Bennett excels in these sensitively drawn works, each painting a picture where the audience can see significance in the words of the story tellers they themselves are not aware of.

All bring a blend of humour and pathos that make for an evening that is both entertaining and thought provoking.

We are performing three of the four plays on each evening:

Wednesday 15th Feb:   A Chip, in the Sugar, A Cream Cracker Under the Settee, Her Big Chance

Thursday 16th Feb: A Chip in the Sugar, A Lady of Letters, Her Big Chance

Friday 17th Feb: A Cream Cracker Under the Settee, A Lady of Letters, Her Big Chance

Saturday 18th Feb: A Chip in the Sugar, A Cream Cracker Under the Settee, A Lady of Letters

Tickets, at £5 for adults and £4 for students, or £18 (£17 students) to include a pre-theatre dinner at the Blacksmith’s Arms, are now available, please see  Booking Your Tickets, below.
