SWIMMING 11.30AM ARBROATH SPORTS CENTRE, KEPTIE ROAD, ARBROATH (Refreshments will not be available at the centre) Please enter swimming distance on entry form as accurately as possible.
The competition will run under Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2007. Please note that the law prohibits any person under 17 years of age from carrying an air pistol in a public place and, in addition, prohibits any person under 14 years from having in their possession an air pistol unless that person is under the supervision of someone 21 years of age or over. Loaders in the Shooting phase must be 18 and competitors must use flat headed pellets. Angus Branch of the Pony Club does not accept liability for accidental damage or injury to spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.

Adult and Junior competitors who are not members of the Pony Club are not covered by insurance at this event and must make their own arrangements. 2. Adults are confined to those aged 17 years and over riding horses or ponies. 3. All tack must conform in all aspects to the Pony Club Horse Trial Rule Book 2007. Skull caps to PAS 015, EN1384 and ASTM F1163 standard must be worn and fastened at all times when mounted. Body Protectors must be worn. All competitors must report to the TACK STEWARD just prior to proceeding to the start. All competitors must wear a medical armband before competing. N.B. YOUR HAT MUST HAVE THE KITEMARK LOGO. Wearing of jewellery i.e. earrings is not allowed. 4. Approximate times may be obtained from either the Secretarys caravan at the course or by telephoning Mrs. Fiona Anderson 01307 463341 on Friday 20 April 6pm-8pm. Times will also be available on the pony club web site www.pcuk.org 5. The course will be open for walking from 1400hrs on Saturday 21st April. 6. Should weather conditions necessitate canceling the event; £4.00 per entry will be retained by the Committee to cover administrative costs. Entry fees will be refunded if Mrs. Anderson is notified of withdrawal 1 week BEFORE the closing date. 7. HC entries will be accepted if places allow. 8. A cost of £2.00 per entry goes towards paramedic cover. 9. RIDERS MAY NOT WEAR STOP-WATCHES OF ANY KIND WHILE RIDING THE COURSE. 10. Note under Pony Club rules members must not wear coloured jodhpurs. Saddle clothes must be black or brown. 11. Pony Club members under the age of 16 years, if wearing spurs, must provide a letter from their DC. granting permission or those not passed B test. 12. Competitors must make no more that 3 attempts over any one group of fences. 13. Please ensure that all litter and general debris i.e. drink cans, bandage tape etc are disposed of tidily or taken home. Ensure that you remove any dung produced by your horse from the field. 14. Competitors failing to complete the course must report back to the starter. Disclaimer of Liability
