The apartment is situated at the back of the Falmouth
Hotel which itself overlooks the picturesque Falmouth Bay.
Castle Beach is just a few minutes walk and the larger Gyllyngvase Beach is a
gentle stroll along the sea front. Swanpool and Meanporth beaches are further
away, but easily reached by car or the more energetic may fancy walking to them
along the coastal footpath.
Falmouth is blessed with several sub-tropical gardens, all very close to the
apartment and there are also the more formal gardens of Trebah, Glendurgan and
Trelissick, all of which are within easy reach by car or bus. Further afield is
the world famous “Eden Project”, a place no lover of plants should miss.
Falmouth has many restaurants where one can enjoy cuisine from all over the
world. There are also pubs and nightclubs catering for all tastes. Most are
just a level walk from the apartment. Also close-by is an indoor ten-pin
bowling alley, King Henry VIII’s coastal fortress of Pendennis Castle and for
those who love the sea, the National Maritime Museum, Cornwall.
There are many boat trips which leave from the various quays that sail to
Flushing, St.Mawes, Malpas or Truro and the Helford River.
The normal week is from Saturday 3pm to the following Saturday 11pm
