On the nineteenth day of February 1858 the Will of William Menna FAULL, late of Wheal Rose in the Parish of Saint Agnes in the County of Cornwall, miner, deceased, who died on the 19th day of December 1857 at the said Parish of Saint Agnes was proved in the Principal registry of her Majesty’s Court of Probate, by the Oath of Harriet FAULL of the Parish of Saint Agnes aforesaid, widow, the relict, and James TREGONNING of Scorrier House near Truro in the same County, Clerk, the Executors therein named they having been first sworn duly to administer, John MERIFIELD named in the Will Consenting.

In the name of God Amen. I William Menna FAULL of the parish of Saint Agnes in the County of Cornwall, miner, being weak in body but of sound disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say,
I give devise and bequeath unto my two daughters Julia and Mary Ann twenty pounds each and that they receive it at the expiration of six months after my demise.  
I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Caroline, to be paid for when she becomes twenty one years of age or be married, twenty pounds.  
I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Harriet and my said daughter Caroline, between them, twenty four pounds yearly or every year as a living for them together with my present household furniture but should my daughter Caroline happen to die at any time, then my meaning is that my wife shall have eighteen pounds yearly to live on, and should my wife die, then my daughter Caroline shall have fifteen pounds yearly to live on until she be twenty one years of age or be married but no longer. And my meaning is that my wife shall have her living as above specified so long as she may conduct herself in a discreet and proper manner and remains a widow but no longer and further my meaning is at the death of my wife if my daughter Caroline should be twenty one years of age then whatever money or property may be left shall be equally divided between my four daughters, Julia, Sarah, Mary Ann and Caroline, and my meaning is that my wife and children shall live together six months after my decease during which time they shall be allowed three pounds per month.  I hereby appoint two guardians, viz James Tregoning CLARK of Scorrier House and John MERRIFIELD to see that my Will shall be only Executed arrorbind? to my boone? that no money be drawn from the Bank only as specified above and I here appoint my wife Harriet as Executrix with either one of the above named Guarantors to this my last Will and Testament revoking all former and other Wills and Testaments made my me at any time heretofore in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven

The Goods of William Menna FAULL deceased.

I, James BLACKNEY of Blackwater in the County of Cornwall make oath that the last Will and Testament of the said William Menna FAULL late of Wheal Rose in the parish of St Agnes in the County of Cornwall, miner, deceased now herunto annexed bearing date the twenty third day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven was prepared and written by me according to the directions of the Testator and I further make oath that by the Clause contained in the said Will to wit I hereby appoint two guardians “James Tregonning CLARK of Scorrier House and viz John MERIFIELD”. The Testator meant and intended to appoint as such Guardians James TREGONNING who is a Clerk in the employ of Messrs WILLIAMS and Company at Scorrier House near Truro in the same County and John MERIFIELD but that it erroneously, as it now appears, wrote o? appointinous? with manner hereinbefore written and I further make oath that the said Testator was well acquainted with the said James TREGONNING  ? and at the said James TREGONNING is also well known to me and that I have no knowledge whatsoever of any person of the names of James Tregoning CLARK

Sworn by the said James BLACKNEY at Redruth in the County of Cornwall this sixteenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight before me John L PETER a Commissioner to as Minister Oaths in Chancery in England.
Proved at London 10 February 1858 by the Oath of Harriet FAULL the Relict and James TREGONING, the Executors to whom Administration was granted. John MERIFIELD named in the Will consenting.
