The Will of one James FAULL lately deceased. Proved in common form before
the Reverend William James WALKER, ??, Bachelor of Laws Surrogate
And Admon of the Goods of the said deceased and of all things howsoever
concerning the said Will was Granted to James FAULL the son of the said deceased
and the surviving executor in the said Will named (being first sworn) saving
No Inventory
In the name of God Amen. I James FAULL of the parish of Crowan
in the County of Cornwall, mason, being of perfect mind and memory and calling
to mind and duly considering the armtouty? of human life do make this my
last Will and Testament. I Will and princably comitt my Soul into the hands
of my blessed maker trusting in his mercies and in the meritts of my dear
Redeamer for the remission of all my sins, my body I commit to the earth to
be decently interrred at the discretision of my Executors herein after named
also to my temperall estate I bequeath and dispose of it in the following
manner:
First, I Give and Bequeath unto my sons James and Thomas FAULL my two
chattle estates Erthfull? and Twnoworth for the term of six years after my
death in paying my wife fower pounds per year if she dont? to Wm? Thom if
the life lives so long upon Erthfull? [cant make any sense from this] and
Allso I give and Bequeath my quick staff and cornb and husbander implements
upon the said estate to my sons James and Thomas FAULL to pay my depts
and legazyes and they to Labour and ?ner alike upon the promise for the
term of the six years before mentioned.
Allso I give and bequeath unto my ellder son James FAULL my chattle Estate
in Erthfull after the terme of six years to be expired after my death in
paying my wife fower (four) pounds per year during her natturell life fo
the life upon the said estate line so long and
Allso I give and bequeath the bed he now lies upon and one of the laxgoose
putter [pewter] dishes one of the meddle sorit? of the iron kettles and
one halph dusson of putter plates. [one half dozen of pewter plates]
Allso I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary FAULL the sum of fower
pounds to be paid within six years after my death
Allso I give and bequeath to my daughter Margot FAULL the sum of tenn
pounds to be paid within six years after my death and if either of these
my daughters die unmarried their fortune shall Return to by son Thomas FAULL
Allso I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas FAULL my chattle Estate
in Twyworth/Twywith in paying my wife three pounds per year after she diess
upon Erthfull?
Allso I oblige my sons James FAULL to be so far forth in building the
walor of the house in Trenoworth ass my son Thomas FAULL If not to pay my
son Thomas FAULL one pound and ffawteen shills {one pound 14 shillings} at
the end of twelve months
Allso I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann POLLKENHORNE the sum of
two shillings to be paid her at my death.
Lastly I give and bequeath unto my sons James and Thomas FAULL all the
stock, produce and remainder except what is before mentioned of money in
the house at me decease and all my depts due to me with all my goods and
chattles whatsoeverto theire due and beleese I do now nominate, and apoint
my sons James and Thomas FAULL to be whole and sole executors of this my
last Will and testament requiring them to pay all my just depts and legazyies
before mentioned and I declare this only to be my last Will and testament
contained on two sheett of paper and signed at the top with my own hand.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said James FAULL to be his
last Will and Testament in presense of us
