Charles FAULL - Will

Redruth

26 January 1802

BOND upon the Administration of the Goods of Charles FAULL deceased granted to Thomas CARDELL, a principal Creditor of the said deceased, Mary, wife of John DAVIES, the eldest daughter and next of kin of the said deceased having under her hand and seal renounced her Right to Letters of Administration.

The ADMON was Sworn before Richard Gerveys GRYLLS Clerk by virtue of information and ????

George MOORE Clerk, Master of Arts, Archdeacon of the Archdeaconry of Cornwall lawfully constituted.  To our beloved, in Christ, Richard Gerveys GRYLLS, Thomas STABBACK and John ALLEN Clerks.  Greeting, We hereby commit and impart to you jointly and severally our power and authority to administer in due form of Law the Canonical Oath subscribed to Thomas CARDELL, a principal Creditor of Charles FAULL, late of the Parish of Redruth, within our said Archdeaconry.
Butcher, deceased.  Mary DAVIES, wife of John DAVIES, the eldest daughter and next of kin of the said deceased having renounced under hand and seal her right of taking out Letters of Administration to his Goods Chattels and Effects. And what you shall do herein you or such one or more of you as shall execute their Presents (sic) shall duly certify us or some other competent Judge in this behalf as soon as you can conveniently together with these presents (sic). Given under the Seal of our Office, this twenty-second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two.

Tenor of the Oath

You shall swear that Charles FAULL late of the Parish of Redruth, Butcher, deceased, died without making any last Will or Testament so far as you know or believe.  What you will, well and freely administer, all and singular his Goods, Chattels and Credits, and pay his debts so far as the same Goods, Chattels and Credits do or shall extend and the Law charge you.  And that you will exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the office of the Registry of the Archdeaconry Court of Cornwall a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, chattels and Credits of the said deceased which already have or hereafter shall come to your hands, possession or knowledge and yield and pass a true and just account thereof when thereunto lawfully required.
So help you God.


This Commission was duly executed and the above named Thomas CARDELL was sworn to the tenor of the above Oath this twenty sixth day of January one thousand eight hundred and two
