Prospective owners must come to the sanctuary to meet all the dogs. Sanctuary staff individually match prospective owners to the dog best suited to their life style. Owners must meet the homing criteria and must agree to a home check and follow up visits. Whilst the very best home is the priority of the sanctuary, running costs are extremely high and a minimum donation of £60.00. Is requested . This helps to offset the cost of vet bills. All dogs are neutered or spayed, have had a dental and are fully inoculated and wormed. Dogs are homed with 6 weeks insurance cove, a greyhound collar, lead and a muzzle are provided at an additional cost of £17.00. And coats are available for purchase. Each dog is homed with an individual advice sheet. Owners sign a contract agreeing to regular supervision of the placement and agree to return the dog to the sanctuary if they are no longer able to keep it, for any reason. |
