Daddy Designer menswear label based in London. Daddy was originally founded by Nin Bose and Nathan Collins as a Design Consultancy. The company was renamed Bose Collins and a clothing brand was created keeping the name 'Daddy'. James has performed at gigs wearing some of Daddy's distinctive printed T-Shirts.

Daisy James' youngest sister. Daisy sung backing vocals for James when he supported Katie Melua on tour in Febuary/March 2004 and supporting Carina Round and Damien Dempsey in May 2004. James has another sister Emily.

Dallas, Matt American Actor. Best known for his role as Kyle in the U.S. television series Kyle XY. Matt starred in the music video for Goodbye My Lover along with Mischa Barton.

Dancing Days Song co-written by James, Jimmy Hogarth and Sacha Scarbeck. As yet unreleased, but a favourite he opened gigs with in the 2005 tours. Also known by the title 'Your Dancing Days Are Over'.

Dangerous Song co-written by James and Steve Robson. From James' third studio album Some Kind Of Trouble. So Far Gone was released (digitally) as a single on 12th September 2011. The music video was directed by Luc Janin and filmed on September 12th (on the same day as the single release) at Volupte Burlesque Club, London.

Davies, Mark Director. Mark directed the music videos for the original single releases of High and Wisemen.

Different Country, Same State Different Country, Same State - On the Road with James Blunt is a book written by Peter Hardy. Published in 2010 the book documents the All The Lost Souls world tour.

Digipak The earliest version of Back To Bedlam was released as a limited edition (5000 copies) Digipak. This is a cardboard case that folds out into 3 sections.

Digital Live EP The Digital Live EP was recorded at 93 Feet East in London, UK in January 2005 and released as an exclusive digital download on Itunes on 18th April 2005. The EP features live performances of the songs (in order) Billy, So Long Jimmy, Cry, No Bravery and Wisemen.

Dont Let Me Down Song co-written by James and Peter-John Vettese. It was recorded by Belgium singer Stan Van Samang and features on his debut album 'Welcome Home' released on November 29th 2007. It was also recorded by Idina Menzel and features on her album 'I Stand' released on January 29th 2008.
