Carrie Fisher
Fisher, Carrie Succesful American actress, author and photographer. Best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films. Also known for her semi-autobiographical novel 'Postcards From The Edge'. A friend of James' he stayed at Carrie's house in Los Angeles whilst recording his first studio album Back To Bedlam. Apparently she placed a life-size cardboard cut out of Princess Leia outside his bedroom to protect him at night. James recorded Goodbye My Lover for Back To Bedlam in her bathroom where she kept a grand piano, serving soup to James and the band in-between recordings. She wrote James' Biography for his first official press release under the guise of 'The Landlady'. Carrie is also mentioned in the acknowledgements for James' second studio album All The Lost Souls.

Fray, The U.S. band from Denver, Colorado. The Fray supported James on one date on his U.S. Tour on May 10th 2006

Freeman, Paul Former guitarist in James Blunts band. Joined in 2004 but left in 2005 to concentrate on his own solo career (although James said he had to leave because he was far too good looking to stay!). Paul is currently living in Los Angeles, U.S. In November 2005 he released his first solo EP 'Lost And Found'. Paul was replaced by Ben Castle in the band.

Friends Of The Earth Enviromental awareness organisation. James actively supports Friends of The Earth and has supported their 'Big Ask' campaign for stronger climate laws. The organisation will also have a presence at venue's during James' UK Tour in January 2008. Also see Live Earth
