Boarding School in North West London, UK. James attended Harrow from the age of 13. While at Harrow, aged 14 he brought his first guitar for £100. He also learnt to fly and was one of the youngest people aged, 16 to gain a UK private pilots licence.
Hardy, Peter
British Journalist and writer. Author of the James Blunt book Different Country, Same State. Peter also wrote the forward message in the All The Lost Souls Tour Programme.
Hart, Roddy
Singer Songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. Roddy played secondary support for James on two dates of his Summer Nights Tour at Stirling Castle in June 2006.
Hayden, Robert
Tour Manager for James and the band (2005 to present day). Robert was formerly tour manager for the band, The Flaming Lips.
Heart Of Gold
Song co-written by James and Steve Robson. First performed live on 29th June 2010 on board a Boeing 767 aircraft at an altitude of 42,000 feet above the UK for the Heart Radio Gig In The Sky Word Record attempt. The song is expected to be on James' third studio album Some Kind Of Trouble.

British songwriter. Wayne Co-wrote songs with James for his third studio album Some Kind Of Trouble.
Help For Heroes
British Charity organisation set up to give help and support to wounded service Personnel and their families. In November 2007 James became a patron of Help For Heroes and was interviewed by the Sun Newspaper, helping their own appeal to raise funds for the charity. On September 12th 2010 at Twickenham Stadium in London James and his band performed at the fundraising Heroes Concert for ther charity.
Hendrix, Jimi
Legendary American guitarist, singer, songwriter of the late 60's. Died in London, 1970 aged 27. One of the inspirations for James' song So Long Jimmy.
Heroes Concert
A fundraising concert for the charity organsiation Help For Heroes held at Twickenham Stadium, London on Sunday 12th September 2010. The concert was to raise awareness and funds to help wounded service personnel and their families. James and his band performed at the concert the following songs (in order) Stay The Night (the first time the song was played live), 1973 and You're Beautiful.
Height James is 5 feet 8 inches tall (173cm). See Weener.

single released in the UK on 18th October 2004. The singles B-Side track was Sugarcoated. The Video was directed by Mark Davies and filmed in Tenerife in September 2004. The song became popular in Italy after being used in an advertising campaign for Vodafone making it a top ten hit there. High was re-released as a single in the UK on October 3rd 2005 with a new Video directed by Sam Brown. This single has a live radio version of the U2 cover In A Little While on its
B-Side. The 7" Vinyl version of the single has Butterfly as it's B-side. The re-release of High reached number 16 in the UK singles charts.
Hillier James' middle name. The name's origin comes from one of James' ancestors, Dr. John Synge Blount who was a surgeon based in Birmingham in the 19th Century. He was left property by two sisters named Hillier. James still carries their name today.
Hogarth, Jimmy
Songwriter. James' friend and co-writer of songs So Long Jimmy, Wisemen, Dancing Days (Back To Bedlam), Close Your Eyes, Sugarcoated, We Don't Need God Anymore and Annie (All The Lost Souls). Jimmy guested on guitar with James and the band at some of the shows during the UK tour in October 2005. James and Jimmy Hogarth re-recorded a version of I Really Want You and the song was released as a one-track download single on August 4th 2008.

Household Cavalry
The Household Cavalry consists of The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st The Royal Dragoons). They are the oldest and most senior regiments in the British Army. Operations in Alberta, Canada. As a
NATO peacekeeper in Kosovo in 1999. D Squadron. James was one of the first Officers to enter Pristina leading a column of 30,000 peacekeeping troops. His
experiences there influenced the song No Bravery. In his last six months in the Household Cavalry James held many ceremonial duties in London. One of his last before leaving the regiment was to hold vigil over the Queen Mother's coffin as it lay in state in Westminster Hall. James was also captain of the Household Cavalry's downhill Ski team.
