Music Video

Directed by: Mark Davies
Director of Photography: Francesco Pezzino
Production company: ??
Date & location filmed: 3rd December 2004 - Cafe De Paris, London and Camber sands, Sussex, UK
Starring: James Blunt, Paul Freeman, Paul Beard, Malcolm Moore, Karl Brazil

Mark Davies second music video for James. The video features James with his band (including ex band member Paul Freeman) performing in an almost empty club apart from three sleazy business type men and a dark haired girl sitting at a table in the corner. The men seem disinterested in the band, but the girl makes eye contact with James and gets up to dance. Suddenly three odd looking characters enter the club. Each is of varying height and all wearing grotesque masks of James's face. They kidnap James off the stage and bundle him into the boot of their car and take him to the seaside, where they build a run down shack (a semi by the sea) in which to imprison him. The video ends with James in the shack singing the line "Where are you now" while the grotesque characters are outside performing with toy instruments making a mockery of the song.

Music Video (Re-release)

Directed by: Paul Minor
Production company: ???
Date & location filmed: London, February 3rd 2006
Starring: James Blunt

Features James driving down a lonely road. He pulls into a wooded area and steps out the car holding personal documents including his own passport. He then burns them on a small fire and walks away only to spontaneously human combust himself. He walks along engulfed by flames and reaches a house, looks up at a bedroom window. The light goes off and James looks sullen, walks away and drops down still on fire. The video received its premiere in the UK on Channel 4 Television on March 3rd, 2006. The Car James is seen driving in the video is a 1971 Jensen Interceptor FF. It's number plate is clearly seen in several shots as 'FJJ9J' although it's unknown if this has any significance to James.
