Yankovic, Weird Al American comedian famous for doing popular song parodies. Weird Al did a comedy version of James' song You're Beautiful entitled You're Pitiful in June 2006.

Young Folks Peter, Bjorn and John cover song performed by James live on Jo Whiley's BBC Radio 1 show on the 12th September 2007. James and the band also performed Young Folks live (during the encore) at the Highline Ballroom, New York, September 19th 2007, and at subsequent shows. Young Folks is the b-side track on the single version of Carry You Home.

You're Beautiful The second track James' debut studio album Back To Bedlam. Co-written by James, Amanda Ghost and Sacha Skarbek. You're Beautiful was the third single to be released from the album on 30th May 2005. Written by James after he saw his ex-girlfriend on the London Underground with her new boyfriend. The song is about seeing someone and connecting with their eyes and for that one moment, that one millisecond in time, living your entire life with them. There's a reality that one steps out of at the end of the song, as well, but it's a celebration of that momentJames Blunt The music Video was directed by Sam Brown and features James sitting crossed legged laying out all his worldly possessions in front of him before jumping off a cliff into the sea. The singles B-side tracks are acoustic versions of Fall At Your Feet, So Long Jimmy and High and were produced by Paul Beard. The single debuted at number 12 and reached number 1 in the UK charts on 17th July 2005 remaining there for 5 weeks. Used in the soundtrack for the movie 'Undiscovered'. In the U.S. the single reached number 1 in Billboard's Pop 100, Hot Digital and Adult Top 40 charts. On 1st March 2006 You're Beautiful reached number 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 charts making James the first British artist to reach the top spot since Elton John achieved the feat in 1997 with 'Candle in the Wind'.

You're Beautiful Stalker Remix (Parody) Humorous parody of the song You're Beautiful performed by Australian comedian Tom Gleeson and broadcast on Today FM Radio. The song has dialogue from Gleeson as seen from the point of view of the boyfriend of the girl James sees 'in a crowded place' on the subway. James himself has said in interviews that this is one of his favourite parodies. Click the link to hear the song.

You're Gullible (Parody) Humorous parody of the song You're Beautiful. Released online as a flash animation in December 2005 by Eclectech. The animation was shown on Channel 4 News in the UK on 11th January 2005 as part of a news report all about James. Shortly afterwards due to legal reasons, the song (audio only) was removed from the Eclectech website.

You're Pitiful (Parody) Humorous parody of the song You're Beautiful by American comedian Weird Al Yankovic. Recorded by Al after seeking permission from James to parody the song for his new album. After recording had finished Atlantic Records, James' record company, told Al he couldn't release the song on the album. As a result the song became available as a free download on Al's website in June 2006.
