Hi All,
Firstly confirmation of information already supplied:
Clara Ferguson married Walter Miller in 1897 (Oct-Dec)
Walter was born in Liverpool cir 1876
Both living with William Ferguson in Salford in 1901. Also there was Alice Miller described as *visitor* (not yet traced).
Herbert Miller born 1901 (Apl-Jun) in Salford.
An Eric George Miller was born in Liverpool 1903 (Apl-Jun)
A Walter Miller died in Liverpool 1903 (Apl-Jun).

Kenworthy's

A Clara Miller married Joseph Percy Kenworthy in Barton on Irwell 1905 (Jly-Sep)

I have checked (using Free BMD) on Joseph Kenworthy's born between 1875 and 1885 and only two possibilities came up, only one of whom had a second name of *Percy*. Also used census returns 1871 - 1901 and came up with the same two possibilities. Thus we arrive at:

Joseph Percy Kenworthy born Mossley 1880 (Jly- Sep)

His parents were Joseph born cir 1840 in Heckmondwike and Sarah born cir 1847 in Rochdale. They had quite a few children.

Joseph was a grocer in Mossley prior to his death between 1881 and 1891. They had 6 Children. After the death of her husband Sarah moved to Clayton.

Have looked for possible children of Clara and Joseph Percy and only one Kenworthy was born in the Barton/Salford areas
(Ethel 1907 {Jan-Mar}). More probable is my speculation that they moved to Ashton-under-Lyne and we find; Ashton born 1905 (Oct-Dec) (Ashton was of course her brother John's second name and unusual), Percy 1906 (Oct-Dec) (as such an unusual name), Elizabeth Ann 1907 (Apl-Jun) (Clara's mother's names and (a real flight of fancy, perhaps as not so uncommon) William born 1907 (Oct-Dec).

Well that's it. I don't intend to spend time, at least for now, on getting certificates to verify any of the above but if anyone else wishes to then fine - please let me know the outcome.

Ron
