Background to this Site:The research into my family's Ferguson ancestors eventually took me to Kendal and during my searches I accumulated much information about the Westmorland Fergusons together with some information regarding those from Cumberland and Lancashire. The moving of my original site has given me the opportunity to make this work available to others in the hope that it may help their research. In the event of you publishing information gathered from here it is requested that this site is acknowledged as the source.
I am continuing to add information to the site and will be updating at approximately monthly intervals and I would ask those with information, corrections and suggestions to contact me at the address below. Please note however that this site is limited to the Fergusons and their close families.

Fergy's Website comprises the family of William Ferguson born 1794, his descendants and their associated families in several countries.
