Started training in 1978 under sensei's Perry and Shearer. He has been
teaching for over 20 yrs.
Graded shodan under Kanazawa sensei all other grades under Perry
sensei.
Barry Shearer 7th dan
Sensei Shearer has been training for over 30 years and teaching for over 25
years. He is one of the most knowledgable instructors in the country with great
technical ability.
Sensei Shearer took 1st,2nd & 3rd dan under Kanazawa sensei and all
his other grades under Paul Perry sensei 8th dan.

1st Kyu-1st dan: 6 Months or 1 Year (Normal)
1st dan-2nd dan: 2 Years

5th dan-6th dan: 6 Years
6th dan-7th dan: 7 Years
7th dan-8th dan: 8 Years
