Who are Flatspin?

Originally forming in Sep '99 after working on various live and studio projects together, the band members (Stu - guitar/vocals, Matt - bass, Stoo - drums) went through various vocalists, a name change & some broken bones before settling down as the original three piece in '01. Now from August 2003 with the addition of Tel as lead vocalist the new four piece is born.

Coming on like the modern day bastard child of a fully loaded Guns n Roses, hooked up with a groove addled Alice in Chains, Flatspin don’t so much hit the stage as smash the f$%&cker up, with their aggressive melodic power rock.

Wasting no time on over-indulgence, Flatspin play emotionally charged songs about the struggles of real life whilst keeping a firm eye on the need to entertain and lift people above the daily grind. Stadium-sized anthems with thought-provoking lyrics, vocals that spin from sweet to searing, fuelled by incendiary guitar licks and a pummelling rhythmic pulse…Flatspin will not leave the building!

Their shows are highly charged, intense affairs, delivered with passion and sincerity. Whether it’s an intimate “unplugged” set to 50 faithful fans or a festival appearance in front of 2000 newly converted biker nuts, Flatspin deliver the goods.
