Hailing from a far distant place called Brantham, this borderline 'tractor boy' began playing guitar at the tender age of 11, taking music as his major through High School (go figure!). He played with various alt/grunge bands (Four Man Fubar, Planet Orange) before his college years.After an unsuccessful approach to guitar, and upon starting college in September '99 Stoo swapped his 'plank-spanking' chops for the noble art of 'tub-thumping', thus drums became his thing.
Putting himself about a bit (always a keen swinger!), he played with various peeps including Hyde's Nick and Darren, Ray 100's Ben Tyler, and Jack's Family widdler Jean-Paul before teaming up with Stu and Matt to co-found Flatspin.
