The photo of a young fox on the home page shows my approach with wild creatures, gaining their trust without any attempt at taming them. Overcoming the fear generated by thousands of years of persecution is impossible in the short term of course, but it can be overcome for a relationship between one known human and one animal or group of animals. The female badger at the right is one of a sett population having members which allow me right in with them, and they appear to have accepted me as one of their group.
As you see to the left, even the smallest creatures welcome our company, the warmth of a finger being as comforting as sunlight.
Go on a mini safari now by trying all the buttons on the right to see some amazing British creatures really close up. Many say that Britain lacks wildlife variety, but I think it just lacks eyes to see it.
