A little update for you all!
All things are back to normal after the last couple of weeks, with the weather and all the problems it's caused!
Congratulations! to Michelle on her new position at D Lloyd, Warrington.
Flic Flac Academy & Gymnastics club would like to wish her all the best in her new role as co-ordinator with D.Lloyd, and thank her for all her hard work, not only with the committee, but also with coaching.
First and foremost. A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, from all the gymnasts, coaches and parents @ Flic Flac Gym Club & Academy.
If this year is going to be anything like last year, well all I can say is that we are in for a cracker!
What with a new additional building, equipment galore, more gymnasts than you can shake a stick at, and a group of coaches and parents, who give up many hours of their free time, to make Flic Flac what it is today... A SUCCESS!
We will not rest on our laurels, plans are already afoot for even more development, so watch this space!
To get the year off to a good start, the senior gymnasts have once again been invited, to take part in the Gymstars International Invitation, in Malta in July. The flights have been booked and preparations are underway for what is a very high standard competition, more details will be posted as we get them.
Jack Frost came and went, I won't keep you long a write up will follow with pics and videos. So to be going on with here are the scores from Jack Frost 2009 & Flic Flac Academy Inter Club Comp.
Well we are nearing Xmas, the annual bingo night is just round the corner, and preparations are well advanced for the Jack Frost Invitation, on Sunday 6th December.
A little bit of news for you all following the trip to Dublin, I'll let Julie say it in her own words.
Well done to everyone who competed in Dublin, over 20 medals brought back. I would like to say what a pleasure it was to be in the company of 4 very special young ladies, Chloe, Beth, Cath and Mandie whose commitment, attitudes and team spirit shone throughout the trip. Faced with injuries and takin bad falls, the girls pulled each other through, with tears and smiles! The Dutch team made special mention about the girls, and they are wonderful ambassadors for our club. Girls, keep it up, the club is extremely proud of you.
Just to be going on with a video I put together from the European Invitation @ Arabian, last month.
Just in some photos from Trojan 2009 in Dublin, video to follow!
Now Then Mr Cheers, can you place the music, come now you know this!
Update:- Mr C scores a home run in less than 5 mins...
Here are some pictures from the Flic Flac Fossils, from their trip to Scotland to the Veteran's Championships, which they won by the way!

Well Well Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls, for a club that according to one particular source is in trouble!, the first day of our Autumn Invitation went down a storm! (gazeebo last seen being chased by Fiona in the dark, during high winds)
Sunday see's the second and very long day of competition, with clubs from around the county and country attending. So for a club that is expanding, and now has two units on the go, the only way is up. Personally I put it down to a little bit of the green eyed monster!

Pictures and more will be uploaded as soon as we get them!
Sunday is going to be a massive day for both the gymnasts and all the coaches and parents, who make Flic Flac Gym Club what it is, A Success!
Oh! by the way we must give a special mention to, Tottington Lodge No 7537, for their very kind donation. As ever this will be put back into the club for equipment.
This weekend see's the running of the Autumn Invitation Competition, held at Flac Flac Academy.

Floors to move, beams to move and a thousand and one things to do.
The comp will run Saturday and all day Sunday, with teams from around the North West and further afield, a big mention to our good friends from Arabian, who will shooting up the M6 to join us.

Flic Flac Gymnastics Club was formed in 1999,
and until 2002, trained at Coppull Leisure Centre. We currently
have over 300 members, and cater for children from pre-school, right through to top elite gymnasts. We now have two units in which we train, due to the success of the club, expansion was the obvious option. The additional training space will only lead onto greater and better things, giving the gymnasts even more reason to train hard and compete at their highest level of ability
Photo below of gymnasts and a representative from Leyland Trucks, who kindly donated £500 to the club, which went towards the purchase of a new Foam Vault.
Many Thanks from All @ Flic Flac Gym Club.
