Welcome To My Website.  The purpose of my website is to document my attempt at the Wainwright 214. I don’t profess to be an expert regarding the Lake District or it’s history or it’s beautiful fells. What I do have, is a passion to do what many thousands of others are doing or have done, some multiple times, the Wainwrights. My love of the Lake District was born out of studying for my ‘A’ level Geology, which involved a field trip to the Borrowdale Valley and from then I’ve been hooked. A few years passed without much action on my part, just a longing to go back, but now the bug has bitten big time, and to date 127 summits have been completed. The site I hope will bring to the web my personal trips to the fells, many undertaken alone. Planning is also a foot for an attempt at the Coast to Coast walk, a 13 day, 190 mile! marathon in June this year. I’ll keep you all posted. Sean Always check the weather before going on the fells, as I’ve said i’m no expert. Correct clothing and footwear, weather knowledge and know where you are going, always carry a map and know how to read it!
