Hess Conspiracy?  We received this intriguing e-mail from Fred Lincoln of the Biggleswade and Sandy Branch. Can anybody help? "For many, many years, I have been trying to trace anyone that was stationed on an airfield in Lincolnshire during May 1941,when a German aircraft was allowed to land and deliver "something", and then allowed to return to it's base at Aalborg. This was only ten days after Rudolf Hess arrived from Germany. I have the crew names but, try as I might over the last fourteen years, no-one is going to let anything slip. What I would like to know is; was this anything to do with the Hess affair, was the Hess affair some great big cover up? Perhaps one of our members may have been on that airfield at the time, and if so I would very much like to get in touch with him (or her)."
