Thank you to those who went to help pack bags in
Sainsbury for the run up to Christmas and Easter. This Easter we raised £600
form just two evenings.
PaultonsPark
PaultonsPark is a small park in Hampshire. There are some thrilling
rides and there was also a chance to go to Santa’s Grotto.
Swimming
We had a great evening at Didcot wave pool. It
wasn’t too busy and the water was lovely and warm.
Remembrance Day 2005:
On the Sunday nearest the 11th November
many of the Wantage organizations come together to
march through Wantage town centre
to the church of St Peter and St
Paul for a service of
remembrance. We remember those who died for their country during all the wars
and conflicts.
Thinking Day:
Rainbow, Brownies and Guides, February 2004
Thinking Day is a day when all Rainbows, Brownies,
Guides, Rangers, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts remember the Baden-Powells who founded these organizations. Thinking Day is
usually held on 22nd February as it is both Lord and Lady
Baden-Powell’s birthdays.
Mini- Olympics July 2004 in WantagePark
The mini Olympics were organized by Fiona as part
of her Baden-Powell Challenge Badge. We had lots of fun playing games which we
thought should be in the Olympics.
