A Sign of Hope ... ... A Place of Help

Manager: Sue Culling E-mail Me
A personal crisis can be more difficult to cope with than a physical illness. It can lead to depression, isolation and hopelessness. By offering well trained counsellors, the Rainbow Centre provides vital help and support at this important time in people's lives. Through listening, sharing and supportive understanding, burdens lighten, the pain can be faced and confidence gained for the future.

The Rainbow Centre is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and operates to its ethical standards. It is therefore committed to a quality service manned by trained counsellors, carefully supervised with regular opportunities for on-going training.

Referrals are received from Health and Social workers, GPs and other caring agencies. Some clients self refer. There is an increasing need for counselling of children and young people, and we have several counsellors who have the necessary expertise for this.

Anyone seeking help for themselves or a client should contact the Rainbow Centre, where an initial assessment appointment will be made. After this, clients are offered longer term counselling as required.

Contributions are requested, according to means and no one is turned away.
