The Folkestone Rainbow Centre is run by a full time Director and a number of support staff, including qualified staff in the Pre-School. There are a total of 17 paid staff and 158 volunteers (as at 30th September 2004). Our turnover in 2003 was around £90,000, most of which is raised through fundraising activities, donations, and appeals. Only a small proportion comes as a local authority grant.

There are a number of areas of our income which we need to increase if we are to continue to function successfully, and these include increases to our salaries streams, so that we can start to bring our salaries and wages on par with other similar organisations, general fund needs, and particularly the need to purchase a property.
